How do I get paid?
We work with a payout platform called Hyperwallet. When a job is accepted, its agreed remuneration credited to your Hyperwallet account. You can then transfer the money from Hyperwallet to your private account, the same way you would with PayPal. You should receive the money in your account within 48 hours.
How do I register with Hyperwallet?
Your first job on WorkGenius must be approved before you can register on Hyperwallet. For this, you will need some personal documents. To verify your identity, keep your identity card (or passport, with an official letter from a public authority), a bank statement ,or an official invoice (no older than 3 months) at hand. You will then find more information in your Hyperwallet profile.
How quickly will I receive my payment?
With WorkGenius you don’t have to wait for payment. Once your job has been approved, your payment will be credited to your Hyperwallet account within 48 hours.
When do I have to state my VAT number?
Please discuss this with a tax advisor. They would be better placed to provide you with all requirements.
How long does it take to review my freelancer application?
Once you apply on our platform, we will do our best to review your application as quickly as possible. From time to time, there may be delays, but as a rule, your review should not take longer than 5 working days. You can also speed up the process by providing as much information as possible about your work experience. In addition to this, defining your skills and completing your profile can help speed things up.
Do I have to issue an invoice to get paid?
No. You don’t have to issue an invoice when you finish a job. You will automatically receive payment via Hyperwallet.
How do I find the right project for me?
The more skills you specify, the easier it will be for our platform to find the best matches. Complete your skillset to expand the job selection.
Why can't I find suitable projects?
Make sure your profile and skills are duly completed. The more detailed your skills, the higher the probability of landing a job. In addition, we rely on clients to post jobs that we then match with freelancers like you–during slow periods, there may a drop in the number of jobs available. When this happens, just try again at a later time.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
If you miss a deadline, the job falls through, and we would have to match it with another freelancer. Two missed deadlines within 6 months are considered an infringement. If this happens, your account would then be suspended for 6 months.
Can I contact the client?
Submitting a message to a client should only really be necessary in exceptional circumstances. Detailed and informative briefings usually make it unnecessary to get in touch with the client, directly. In urgent cases, contact our support team who would be happy to assist you.
