How do I get paid?
We work with a payout platform called Hyperwallet. When a certain job is accepted by us, the corresponding amount is credited to your Hyperwallet account. You can then transfer the money from Hyperwallet to your private account, the same way you would with PayPal. You should receive the money in your account within 48 hours.
How do I register with Hyperwallet?
Your first job on WorkGenius must be approved before you can register on Hyperwallet. For this, you will need some personal documents. To verify your identity, keep your identity card (or passport with an official letter from a public authority), a bank statement ,or an official invoice (no older than three months) at hand. You will then find more detailed information in your Hyperwallet profile.
How quickly will I receive my payment?
With WorkGenius you don’t have to wait for payment. Once your job has been approved, your payment will be credited to your Hyperwallet account within 48 hours.
When do I have to state my VAT number?
Please ask a tax advisor of your choice. They’ll give you the best overview of all requirements.
How long does it take to review my freelancer application?
We will do our best to review your application as soon as possible once you have applied as a freelancer on our platform. From time to time, there may be delays, but as a rule, your review does not take longer than five working days. You can also speed up the process by providing as much information as possible about your work experience. In addition to this, indication and completion of your skillset contribute to activation. Have you been an SEO professional for several years? You don’t have to hide your talents at all: our technology can work more efficiently if you reveal more about your skills.
Do I have to write an invoice if my order is successful?
No. You don’t have to issue an invoice when you finish a job. You will automatically receive payment via Hyperwallet.
How do I find the right job for me?
To stay up to date, set different filters and notifications. You will be notified each time a suitable job is uploaded to the platform. The more skills you specify, the easier it will be for our platform to find the best matches. Complete your skillset to expand the job selection.
Why can't I find suitable jobs?
There may be two reasons why you can’t find suitable jobs from time to time. Make sure your profile and skills are duly completed. The more detailed your skills, the higher the probability of landing a job. Our platform is also dependent on the current order situation, so it may happen that we do not have suitable jobs for you. When this is the case, just try again later. We recommend you set filters so that you are notified as soon as a new matching job is uploaded by a client.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
If you miss a deadline, the job falls through, and we match it with another Genius. Two missed deadlines within six months are considered an infringement. If this is the case, your account will be suspended for six months.
Can I contact the client?
Detailed and informative briefings usually make it unnecessary to get in touch with the client. In urgent cases, contact our support team who will be happy to assist you with your request. Only in exceptional circumstances should you submit a message to the client.
