Why we back padel
About 1.07 million Americans played padel in 2025, the first year the sport was counted at all. Most of the new courts are opening in Florida, Texas and California, and every one of them needs coaches, a front-desk team and event crews, often in several states, hired faster than an HR function can be built.
That is the problem WorkGenius works on every day. We are the title sponsor of the Open and the Official Payroll Partner of Padel X, which means the people who run the club are employed and paid through us.
Padel is always played in pairs. Neither player covers the whole court; each takes the side they play best. Employment works the same way. The club directs the work. We employ and pay the people, in every state they work in.

Three days of USPA 2000 play across ten draws at Padel X’s downtown flagship club, with the finals on Sunday, November 22, streamed live. The WorkGenius team is on site for the whole weekend.
